1.0 Responsibility and Authority

1.1 Planning Functions

1.1.1 Planning & Material Control Officer (PMCO) shall be responsible for the Production Planning by coordinating the day-to-day planning of production assembly with sales orders.

1.1.2 Review the material process-flow and prepare a master schedule for the production assembly of the finish goods.

1.1.3 Work closely with Shipping (Import Dept) and request to put up an order for required raw materials.

1.1.4 Trains, develops, guidance and motivate all direct subordinates in the Planning & Material Control (PMC) department.

1.1.5 All other related duties and job responsibilities that are assigned to you by your Superior.

1.1.6 The Planning & Material Control Officer (PMCO) shall be responsible at all times, to observe and to carry out faithfully and conscientiously the duties and responsibilities that are assigned to you by superior or above.

1.1.7 Tasks that specified in Quality Management System.

1.2 Inventory Control (including Store and Logistics) Functions

1.2.1 Planning & Material Control Officer (PMCO) shall responsible for the material inventory control of the Company and to ensure the monthly
inventory stock-taking is accurately balance between the physical goods and the MRP system.

1.2.2 Ensure that the Company inventory is maintained at optimized level to support production operation for meeting the customer orders and delivery deadlines.

1.2.3 Improvement of slow moving stock inventory.

1.2.4 Overseeing the transportation of lorries/vehicles arrangement for

shipment of finished goods and raw materials.

1.2.5 Guide and lead in the safekeeping of all materials in the Store.

2.0 Minimum Requirements

2.1. A bachelor degree/diploma/professional qualifications in Engineering/Applied Sciences or equivalent.

2.2. Minimum of 4 years experience in manufacturing environment which include 2 years of managerial level in a Planning & Material Control environment.

2.3. Possess leadership qualities, a budget-conscious attributes and a team player.

2.4. Able to plan and work under extreme challenges.

2.5. An autonomous, matured, resourceful with pro-activeness and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

2.6. Willingness to motivate and guide subordinates (from supervisory down to the floor level).

2.7. A good command of English both spoken and written
