Job Description:

To ensure all installed software’s and IT tools approved by Group IT in PCs and Servers are in good condition and run smoothly at a high performance
To carry out database maintenance for Weighbridge system, this includes backup of database for future references.
To ensure maximized performance for all internet applications
To liaise and follow up with 3rd party IT and / or and continuously monitor the progress of any outstanding issues.
To troubleshoot, do configuration and repair hardware/software of IT equipment where necessary.
To liaise with suppliers for IT equipment and software i.e. sourcing for purchases.
To update network user ID/password and to coordinate application and deletion of SAP user ID and password.
To monitor CCTV time to time. Ensure all recordings are kept for min 3 months and all CCTV cameras in working condition.
To raise PR and CAPEX for IT/Security related purchases.
To update IT/Security SOP documentation.
Assist in IT/Security related audits.
Make recommendations to the Head of Department on matters where he considers security in the Company premises can be improved.
To maintain cooperation with authorities ie. Police and Bomba and be responsible for dealing with any enquiries with them.
To keep in touch with developments in mechanical and other aids in Security and recommend for implementation.
Monitor surveillance and spot checks on tankers.
Perform any other duties as directed by the HOD from time to time.
