- Minimum SPM/SPVM/Vocational Certificate in Electrical Engineering/Electronic Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/Mechatronic Engineering or its equivalent
- 3 years of work experience in a similar field or manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of maintenance and repair works of equipment and machinery
- Able to speak and write in English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Computer literate
- Able to drive forklift
- Responsible for handling maintenance of facility equipment, building maintenance system, Chiller, Boiler, Compressor, Effluent Plant, Lab Equipment, Fire Fighting system and other related maintenance to ensure it is in good condition and supports the operation and factory at optimum level.
- Perform regular maintenance, especially on mechanical, electrical, and electronic aspects of machines and processing lines to avoid production downtime.
- Conduct thorough inspection on the Electrical Wiring Systems, Utility System, and Effluent Plant System and provide immediate actions to problems or defects.
- Comply with the Company's operating procedures in handling maintenance and repair works.
- Conduct Daily, Weekly, and Monthly PM Checklists and maintain proper filing of records.
- Provide recommendations on sourcing the right mechanical. electrical and electronics accessories for the repair and replacement work.
- Ensure availability of parts for critical components and ability to respond immediately to critical breakdown.
- Perform housekeeping to ensure the cleanliness of the work area after repair works and at all times.
- Responsible for updating Plant Status as per Instructed by Senior Engineer and Senior Technician.
- To supervise & evaluate the appointed contractor’s work quality and compliance with the contract/P. O awarded by Aquaspersions
- Able to work a flexible schedule
- Establishing priorities, while demonstrating flexibility and an ability to multitask.
- Update Spare parts usage in a timely manner, responsible for the housekeeping of workshop, spare parts room, working station, and tools box & weekly/monthly stock checks activity of spare parts
- Always adhere to the team, department, company, and organization safety, health, and environment guidelines.
- Responsible for functioning as standby person (AESP)
- Responsible to perform other related duties as assigned to meet departmental and company objectives
