Key Responsibilities:

1. Machine Setup and Operation:
• Set up and operate tube folding machines and cap injection molding machines according to production specifications and schedules.
• Ensure machines are running smoothly by performing adjustments and troubleshooting minor issues as needed.
• Monitor the entire production process, ensuring that laminated tubes and caps meet the required specifications.
2. Quality Control:
• Continuously inspect product output to ensure it meets the required quality standards, including dimensions, sealing, and surface finish.
• Report any defects or deviations from the standard to the Production Supervisor and assist in troubleshooting.
• Make necessary adjustments to machine settings to maintain product quality.
3. Routine Maintenance:
• Perform routine maintenance tasks on the machines, such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts.
• Work with the maintenance team to troubleshoot and resolve any major mechanical issues.
• Keep records of maintenance activities and machine performance.
4. Safety and Compliance:
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures while operating machines, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Ensure the work area around the machines is clean and organized, minimizing any potential safety hazards.
• Report any safety concerns or machine malfunctions to the Production Supervisor immediately.
5. Material Handling:
• Load raw materials (such as laminated sheets or caps) into the machines as needed, ensuring that the correct materials are used.
• Monitor material levels during production and coordinate with the warehouse or material handlers to ensure a continuous supply.
• Properly store and handle materials to prevent damage or waste.
6. Documentation and Reporting:
• Record daily production output, machine downtime, and any issues that arise during operation.
• Assist in maintaining production logs and reporting any deviations from planned output to the Production Supervisor.
• Participate in shift handovers by providing updates on machine performance and production progress.
7. Collaboration:
• Work closely with the Production Supervisor, maintenance team, and other machine operators to ensure smooth production flow.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss production issues and improvements.
• Be flexible to assist with other duties on the production floor as required.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience (1-3 years) as a machine operator in a manufacturing environment, preferably in laminated tube or plastic manufacturing.
• Familiarity with lamination, printing machines and injection molding machines is an advantage.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot machines.
• Attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
• Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues.
• Understanding of health and safety regulations in a manufacturing setting.
