The Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor is responsible to lead and supervise the Mechanical Maintenance section at the Waste-to-Energy (WtE) and Waste Segregation Facility (WSF), as well as common areas, ensuring operations are conducted safely, efficiently, and within environmental and design parameters
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Coordinate and supervise maintenance activities within the scope of Mechanical Maintenance Section in accordance with maintenance procedure and by the most cost-efficient means.
2. Maintain Mechanical Maintenance Section records.
3. Assist Engineer in solving recurring and outstanding problems related to the plant systems or equipment’s; in order to improve plant reliability and performance.
4. Ensure safekeeping and safe handling of tools and equipments and maintain its register and inventory.
5. Liaison with other Sections during coordination of maintenance activities, if applicable.
6. Lead a team of contractors in maintaining the mechanical equipment, under Mechanical Maintenance Section Scope.
7. Initiate changes and additions to Mechanical Maintenance Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment & Control Measure (HIRAC) and Work Instructions.
8. Adapt QHSE procedures when carrying out maintenance activities.
9. Maintain a high safety and quality conscious working environment, and ensure compliance with all QHSE and legislative Health & Safety and Environmental requirements.
10. Take reasonable care to protect plant asset and own health and safety as well as that of others in the workplace.
QUALIFICATION
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum of 5 years' experience in the maintenance of Thermal Power Plants.
A detailed knowledge of engineering practices, function and processes involved in power plant operation and maintenance.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
