Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Executive to join our growing team, specializing in scientific instrumentation. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the sales of our advanced scientific equipment to clients in industries such as pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, academia, environmental sciences, and research institutions. You will play a key role in expanding our market presence, developing customer relationships, and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Growth: Drive the sales of scientific instrumentation products to a diverse client base, including laboratories, academic institutions, and industrial research organizations.

Customer Relationships: Develop and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing clients by providing exceptional customer service, understanding client needs, and offering tailored solutions.

Product Presentations & Demonstrations: Conduct in-depth product presentations and demonstrations, showcasing the functionality, applications and benefits of our equipment to potential customers.

Strategic Sales Planning: Create and implement effective sales strategies and plans that align with company objectives to meet or exceed sales targets.

Market Research: Stay informed about market trends, competitor products and innovations in scientific instrumentation to better position our products in the market.

Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with the technical support, marketing and R&D teams to ensure customer requirements are fully understood and met.

Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities and pipeline status using CRM software and provide regular updates to management.

After-Sales Support: Provide post-sale support to customers, ensuring satisfaction and addressing any technical or product-related concerns.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline (e.g., Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Engineering, Physics) or related field.

Experience:

Fresh graduates are most welcome or minimum 1-2 years of experience in sales ideally within the scientific or technical instrumentation field.

Skills:

  • Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Ability to translate complex technical details into clear, value-driven propositions for clients.
  • Proven ability to build rapport and maintain relationships with a range of stakeholders from researchers to procurement teams.
  • Self-driven with a results-oriented mindset.

Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with scientific instrumentation and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in a technical or scientific sales roles for experienced candidates.
  • Existing network within the scientific, pharmaceutical or academic sectors.
  • Familiarity with product lines related to analytical instruments, laboratory equipment or precision tools.
