Tasks & responsibilities

  • Maintaining accurate records of transactions such as accounts payable, receivables, payroll, and petty cash.
  • Verifying, recording, and processing invoices from suppliers.
  • Ensuring accuracy in amounts, due dates, and authorization for payments.
  • Managing customer payments (accounts receivable) and following up on overdue invoices.
  • Ensuring that financial records are accurate and in compliance with company policies and government regulations.
  • Organizing and filing documents such as invoices, receipts, and bank statements.
  • Answering inquiries regarding financial information.
  • Performing other clerical duties such as filing, typing, and document handling.
