- Drive compliance with statutory requirement, accounting standards and company policies.
- Responsible for ensuring accounts give a true and fair view of the financial position of the Company, and that there are no material misstatements.
- Centre of expertise to advise on accounting treatment for transactions in the following key processes:
a. Purchase to pay
b. Sell to collect
c. HR process (hire to retire) - The Company has multiple segments and amalgamation within the same entity
- Yearly Turnover and Total Asset above RM1 bil
- Lead the Financial Reporting, Account Payable and Fixed asset team in delivering effective and efficient accounting functions.
- Manage and coordinate all corporate deadlines and deliverables (including monthly, Quarterly, yearly reporting, management slides, board slide and annual budget preparation).
- Coordinate completion of both internal and external audits. Resolve reported findings/issues with respective stakeholders in the Company.
- Responsible for implementing changes in our accounts and processes arising from adoption of new accounting standards, policies and changes in law.
- Establish and maintain control procedure, accounting system automation and processes.
- Liaise with both internal and external parties on financial and control issues i.e. business stakeholders, internal and external auditors.
- Constantly review and fine-tune the accounting and business processes in order to deliver the department objectives with the least interruption to the businesses.
- Participate and provide advice on accounting treatment/control measure to business as and when required.
- Track and report relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to reflect productivity and efficiency of assigned tasks.
- Other ad-hoc duties as prescribed by the Top Management and Shareholders to assist in achieving Finance Department's and the Company's objectives.
