Overview:

The QA Manager will oversee the quality assurance processes within our synthetic rubber OEM manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality management systems, ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. You will lead a team of QA professionals, collaborate closely with production, and manage compliance with industry regulations and customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive quality assurance system to ensure the consistent production of high-quality OEM products.
  • Lead the QA team in monitoring and testing raw materials, in-process production, and final products to meet established quality criteria.
  • Implement and enforce procedures for inspection, testing, and evaluation of synthetic rubber materials and finished goods.
  • Oversee internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with industry standards (ISO, ASTM, etc.), regulatory requirements, and customer-specific quality standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying areas for process optimization, defect reduction, and cost savings.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective action processes for any non-conformances or product defects.
  • Work closely with production, engineering, and R&D teams to ensure seamless integration of quality assurance in product development and manufacturing processes.
  • Manage documentation and reporting of all quality-related activities, including maintaining quality records and preparing reports for management review.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer quality issues, providing timely and effective resolutions.
  • Train and mentor QA staff, ensuring the team is skilled in the latest quality assurance methodologies and techniques.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field.
  • 8 years of experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing environment (experience in synthetic rubber or OEM products is a plus).
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems (QMS), ISO standards, and relevant industry regulations.
  • Proven track record of leading quality assurance teams and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to conduct thorough root cause analysis and implement effective corrective actions.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities, with the capacity to work cross-functionally across teams.
  • Familiarity with testing equipment and techniques used in rubber manufacturing processes.
