Job Description:

  • Purchase Order Management: Process and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy in pricing, quantities, and specifications.
  • Verification: Validate purchase orders to minimize errors and ensure supplier acknowledgment.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with suppliers and internal departments for timely fulfillment of company needs.
  • Delivery Coordination: Oversee delivery schedules and resolve any issues to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Weekly Review: Review delivery schedules weekly and release orders based on MRP.
  • Collaboration: Work with planners to align procurement with production scheduling and ensure material availability.
  • Stock Monitoring: Monitor pigment and additives stock levels to prevent shortages.
  • Supplier Sourcing: Source suppliers, negotiate pricing and terms, and manage alternate sourcing proposals.
  • Market Research: Conduct evaluations to identify cost-saving opportunities.

Job Requirement:

  • Minimum Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
  • At least 2 years' experience as a Buyer or in a similar procurement role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the materials and equipment used in the industry.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
