Job Description:
- Purchase Order Management: Process and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy in pricing, quantities, and specifications.
- Verification: Validate purchase orders to minimize errors and ensure supplier acknowledgment.
- Communication: Maintain effective communication with suppliers and internal departments for timely fulfillment of company needs.
- Delivery Coordination: Oversee delivery schedules and resolve any issues to ensure on-time delivery.
- Weekly Review: Review delivery schedules weekly and release orders based on MRP.
- Collaboration: Work with planners to align procurement with production scheduling and ensure material availability.
- Stock Monitoring: Monitor pigment and additives stock levels to prevent shortages.
- Supplier Sourcing: Source suppliers, negotiate pricing and terms, and manage alternate sourcing proposals.
- Market Research: Conduct evaluations to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Job Requirement:
- Minimum Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
- At least 2 years' experience as a Buyer or in a similar procurement role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the materials and equipment used in the industry.
- Excellent negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
