ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN (Power Plant Operation)

Job Description:

• Perform troubleshooting on electrical wiring in the panel and equipment such as
  sensors, motors, fans and etc.
• Lead team on the electrical job scope if needed buddy system.
• Authority to manage condition of every electrical panel and equipment at site.
• Operate, monitor and control the operations of the turbine, generator, boiler and their
  associated auxiliaries efficiently in order to continuously generate electricity at a reliable
  manner to meet the customer demand.
• Carry out inspection and regularly check the operating condition of turbines, generators,
  boilers, and other equipment such as the water pump system, gas supply and etc.
• Perform preventive and required maintenance, troubleshoot equipment problems, cleaning of
  equipment and balance of the plant.
• Record data in the log sheet and report any abnormalities or faults to the supervisor for
  necessary actions.
• Perfom to start or stop plant, pump equipment or other plant equipment as necessary.
• Communicate with operation team to assess equipment operating status.
• On call duties during site breakdown related on the electrical.

Job Requirement:

• Candidate must possess at least SKM Certificates in Electrical field.
• Experience working in servicing line troubleshooting equipment.
• Minimum 1-2 years of related experience is highly preferred.
• Electrical knowledge and some operation.
• Able to understand the power generation scope.
• Understand the LOTO procedure before do a activity.
• Thorough understanding and troubleshooting of equipment used at the power plant.
• Possess basic mathematical, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel or related software to maintain logs and reports.
• Able to communicate in Bahasa Melayu or English.
• Able to work independently or as a team.
• Able to work on rotating shifts and on call if needed.
• Willing to work at Sendayan, Negeri Sembilan
