In Category Distribution, we contribute to efficient and effective facility management services to a specific unit, both hard services (e.g., technical maintenance) as well as soft services (e.g., cleaning, waste management, pest control, building and retail equipment maintenances well as energy, emissions, and water management). Contributes to securing that the infrastructure of the unit and the technical equipment allows an efficient operation, at the lowest possible cost, and complies with sustainability, safety and security requirements for co-workers, visitors, and customers.

Job description

Assignments

  • Perform daily monitoring, preventive and/or corrective maintenance works on equipment and building installations.
  • Coordinate work of suppliers and supervise the assigned maintenance activities, repair, shut downs and overhaul works.
  • Support operation of the unit by ensuring minimum response time to breakdowns and securing equipment utilization (EQU) goals.
  • Maintain good housekeeping and safety practices in warehouse operations and maintenance supporting areas.
  • Responsible to ensure all activities assigned are done according with the schedule set in the Maintenance Plan.
  • Contributes to identification of suppliers and procurement of parts required for maintenance works.
  • Keep track and ensure inventory control for maintenance spare parts and tools.
  • Provide feedback and give suggestions to improve equipment performance and availability.
  • Respond to emergency calls for any troubleshooting required at site.
  • Produce weekly and/or monthly technical reports on maintenance activities.
Qualification

About you

  • At least diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • At least 5 years working experience in a Facility / Plant / Building maintenance
  • Knowledge of facility aspects such as electrical and mechanical construction and utility specific to warehouse operations.
  • Knowledge of local safety regulations and Building & Common Property Act
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
  • Able to communicate English efficiently with various stakeholders and to build good relationships
  • Able to work as part of a team and contribute to common goals
  • Capable to always act in a professional manner with a problem-solving mindset
  • Capable to assume full responsibility for the assigned task and work without supervision
  • Have cost-consciousness mindset and always strive to reach goal with high level of energy.
