For our Asia Business, we are looking for an engaged, experienced, and results-oriented person for the following position:

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Location: Malaysia

Job Responsibilities

Business development planning to drive Longer term growth:

  • Market Analysis and Planning: Analysing new business opportunities with countries Executing planned actions to acquire new business. Developing longer term business plans aligned with company strategies and growth objectives.
  • Collaborating with Portfolio development of partners and Nufarm Internal to identify portfolio expansion opportunity in focus countries. Coordinate Product Develop between B-to-B key account and internal team like Regulatory, Portfolio and Supply Chain with single point of contact for key account

Achieve Annual Business Plan

  • Achieve budgeted Gross Margin; monthly reviews of Product Portfolios, GM trends and develop risk mitigating solutions where necessary. Developing cost analysis, and Proposed Pricing for approval
  • Develop Business review as part of IBP very moth providing detail business outlook and forecast for three months.

Relationship Management and Customer Satisfaction

  • Building and maintaining strong customer relationships with key member of B-to-B key accounts leadership and management team

Marketing Operations –

  • Assist to develop all seasonal promotional plans and in-field promotions to support the sales team to achieve sales targets and maximise channel partner engagement.
  • Implement digital marketing and social media integrated fully integrate into Nufarm overall marketing strategy.
  • Monthly Evaluation: Conduct monthly assessments of promotional activities by sales teams
  • Rollout Digital tool to enable planning and execution of demand generation, campaigns
  • Execute a wide range of seasonal marketing campaigns and increase the awareness of our products and services in each crop segment.
  • Manage customer sales operations (quotes, orders, logistics to Ensuring customer satisfaction with order fulfilment processes by keeping track on product supply through coordination with supply chain function.

Job Requirements

  • Degree Qualifications (Commercial, Science, Business)
  • Excellent technical knowledge of Crop protection product, market, and business
  • Knowledge and Experience in Marketing operations, managing sales or key account sales.
  • Collaboration Skills
  • Understanding of Product cogs and pricing
  • Possess strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to support new concepts proposals.
  • Excellence communication Influence & Presentation Skill
  • English Language

Desirable:

  • Experience/knowledge of markets in Malaysia Thailand, Srilanka and Philippines
  • Relationship with Industry in Malaysia and SEA countries
  • Should be creative, a good problem solver, ability to evaluate data and recommend action plan and have good business acumen.
