TECHNICIAN

Job Descriptions: 1 To complete the work as per daily target. 2 To accomplish job allocated to him in a timely and safe manner. 3 To report back quickly on completion of task assigned. 4 To maintain high standard of productivity and safety through proper work attitude. 5 Maintains good housekeeping practices in all storage areas of the warehouse and outside storage areas 6 Assembling, evaluating, testing, and maintaining electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, and apparatus. 7 Troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning equipment, appliances, and apparatus. 8 Constructing and fabricating parts, using hand tools and specifications. 9 Reading and interpreting electrical and electronic circuit blueprints, diagrams, and schematics. 10 Advising management on continued use of unsuitable equipment, appliances, and apparatus. 11 Ordering of electrical supplies and equipment. 12 Carry out maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of electrical, automation, and instrumentation of equipment applied by industrial motor controls, chemical feed systems, pump drives, and etc. 13 Perform maintenance, repair, and upgrade of the Water Supply Division’s electrical distribution infrastructure 14 Troubleshoot problems by gathering and analyzing power quality data 15 Ensure longer life of obsolete equipment and save funds by carrying out detailed troubleshooting down to component levels 16 Perform maintenance, installation, repair, and troubleshooting of control centers, de-energized higher voltage equipment, and volt motors 17 Repair and maintain engine generators and carry out work on related control circuit equipment 18 Carry out maintenance, repair, and installation of building circuits and similar equipment 19 Perform maintenance of alarm and SCADA systems, electrical pneumatic and electronic controls, programmable controls, and other similar equipment 20 Carry out necessary carpentry, welding, valve repair, cement, and pipe fitting work 21 Inspect and supervise work done by external vendors. 22 Maintain good attendance and be punctual at all times. 23 Inform the Supervisor of any problems, Defects or Non-Conformaties 24 To work safely without any injury. 25 Any other work request by Superior/Supervisor Requirements: -Minimum Certificate in Engineering (Electrical / Instrumentation). -Preferable 2 years of related working experience in any field. -Multi-tasking and able to work in a fast pace environment. -Able to work under pressure and independently. -Strong result orientation. -Possess good communication and interpersonal skills -Able to work at Sipitang, Sabah
