Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities:

1. Assist Contract & Procurement Manager & Executive in overall Contract & Procurement function;

2. To assist in obtaining quotation from vendors for tender participation;

3. To liaise with site supervisor in line with preparation of Bill of Quantity (BQ) for APJ preparation of cost estimating;

4. To assist in preparation of tender report for Open Tender & Selective Tender;

5. To assist in preparation of sub-contractor’s Letter Award for Open Tender, Selective Tender, Direct Award and Vote Tender;

6. To assist in processing Periodic and Emergency Claims to client;

7. To assist in processing Sub-Contractor’s Claims for Periodic, Emergency and Monthly Routine;

8. To assist in processing Periodic CMGD and Final Payment certificates;

9. To update all information of Periodic, Routine and Emergency in Google Drive;

10. To keep and maintain filing arrangement with proper filing and easy to access whenever needed;

11. Any ad hoc matters or assignment from time to time.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a DIPLOMA in Quantity Surveying;
• Candidate must willing to work at Johor Bahru and willing to travel to any Johor district;
• Computer literate;
• Self-motivated and possess the ability to work independently as well as able to work with others as a team;
• Good communication & negotiation skill;
• Have a valid driving license (B2/D);
• Applicants must be Malaysian citizens (Bumiputra);
