Executive - Safety and Health (Johor Bahru)

Job Responsibilities:- Ensure proper implementation of safety, health and environmental management system and program at respective States. Ensure compliances with safety, health and environmental-related regulations. Advise the employer or any person in charge of a place of work on the measures to be taken in the interests of the safety and health of the persons employed in the place of work. Plan, coordinate and conduct occupational safety, health and environmental inspections at the workplace. Investigate any accident, near-miss accident, dangerous occurrence, occupational poisoning or occupational disease which has happened in the place of work. Collect, analyze and maintain statistics on any accident, dangerous occurrence, occupational poisoning and occupational disease which have occurred at the place of work. Conduct and review the environmental compliance/ aspect & impact (EASI) assessment and prepare relevant report. Provide training pertaining to the occupational safety, health as well as environmental-related matters. As a main project leader for any safety & health development and improvement project. Follow up with respective branch to update the matters arising from JKKP meeting. Prepare and compile document for internal, external and DOSH audit; liaise with relevant departments or take action to address the audit findings. Facilitate, review and update on the Chemical Health Risk Assessment (CHRA), Noise Risk Assessment and Hazard Identification Risk Assessment & Risk Control (HIRARC). Control and update the myKKP account at state level. Perform any other duties as and when assigned by HOD pertaining to the Occupational Safety & Health as well as environmental-related matters. Job Specification:- Candidate must possess at least Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental, Safety and Health or any other relevant studies. Preferable candidate with one (1) year of relevant working experience. However, fresh graduates are welcomed to apply. Independent, excellent communication and interpersonal skill. Good command of Bahasa Malaysia & English. Well versed in Microsoft Office applications. Possess own transport and willing to travel whenever necessary.
