Technical Manager

• Oversee the overall operation of Production, QA&QC and Maintenance activities. • Oversee the planning and scheduling of production operations to meet customers' requirement. • Oversee the staff’s shift work, and overtime, ensure staff take rotation for off/rest day and in compliance with workplace work hours requirement. • Ensure staff adhere to plant rules and regulations related to workplace safety, 5S, PPE, discipline. • Oversee all critical equipment in Production departments to ensure smooth operations and minimize downtime. • To support continuous process improvement efforts for maintenance that benefit the line quality, efficiency, and productivity. • Plan & coordinate for any necessary replacement and repairs, scheduling preventive maintenance and management tasks during the least likely to disrupt the business and its employees. • Analyse, plan, organize, implement, and monitor maintenance processes for equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations at optimum cost. • Intervene and lead the Production Maintenance team immediately in resolving major issues to ensure less impact on critical operations, e.g., production. • Ensure the manufacturing plant conforms to the current ISO 9001 & ISO 14001standards. • Understand the requirements of regulatory agencies and assist in ensuring compliance with the requirements (including DOSH, DOE, OSHA, and RBA compliance) • Continually establish, review, maintain, or improve departmental standard operating procedures and work instructions while ensuring that all written procedures are followed. • Manage Production Maintenance work orders by prioritizing, assigning, tracking, and monitoring for closure. • Manage and ensure timely & accurate equipment maintenance records such as SOP, WI, checklist, reports, logbooks & quality documents. • Source & evaluate quotations, prepare comparisons and participate in direct negotiation for equipment & system procurement. • Assist in new product development-related trial runs and projects.
