Junior ELV Technician

Position: ELV Technician ( Network / Security / Surveillance Infrastructure) Job description Job Location: Petaling Jaya Candidates must have own transport to attend office. Candidates must be willing to travel for short term assignments in Penang, Kedah or Johor. Salary Range: >2yrs related experience, leadership, GDL, computer knowledge: RM2-3k < 1yr related experience: RM1.5-RM2k. Requirement: (MUST) Able to read or write in Bahasa Malaysia and English. Minimum SPM . Can consider candidates with SRP/PMR with related experience. Candidates with related Diploma / experiences can be considered for Senior Technician post. Willing to work 5.5 days (Saturday Half Day) and overtime. Motivated and willing to learn. Added Advantage: Can speak English or have GDL Job Scope: ELV Technician ( Network / Security / Surveillance Infrastructure) installs, tests, labels and maintains low voltage communication distribution systems and signal sources to the terminal or equipment at the end of distribution systems, which comprise the architecture that supports voice, video and data transmissions within industrial, commercial, institutional and office complexes. Plans and prepares for installations Performs cable installations using hand and power tools installs cable support infrastructure Terminates and splice inside and outside plant cables Performs labelling, testing and documentation of installations Performs networking installations Troubleshoots cable systems Develops and maintains positive client relations Understanding of industry cable test procedures and equipment for a variety of different cabling systems (copper / fiber test equipment, Fluke DSX, DTX , Network Analyzer, VFL, etc). Manage, check and coordinate all materials to be delivered to site daily.
