The People team plays a crucial organisational role in Shopee by channeling important resources to key functions in the company. People are key to Shopee’s growth, and as our business expands, so does the need to develop and support our employees.

Job Description:
  • Collaborate with HR and business leaders to identify talent needs and develop talent management strategies aligned with organizational goals
  • Work with managers to identify high-potential employees, develop and execute talent development plans, such as internal talent programs, L&D initiatives, engagement activities
  • Develop and implement young talent program such as management associate/trainee programs from onboarding to ongoing program monitoring and performance management to support their growth and development
  • Evaluate program effectiveness and make recommendations for program improvements
  • Manage and coordinate internal talent programs such as leadership development programs and mentoring programs
  • Collaborate with regional and local stakeholders to design and implement the program components to ensure effectiveness
  • Leads and support upward mobility, such as job rotations, assignments and overseas transfer for country-level cases
Requirements:
  • Has 2-5 working experience in Human Resource functions is preferred but open to any function if has strong passion for people and people development
  • Bachelor's degree in any fields
  • Essential skills such as strong data analytical and problem-solving skills with proven ability for project management are required
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
