About the job Data Visualization Developer

The Primary duties and responsibilities role of a Data Visualization developer are to making use of Data Visualization technology to help organizations to collect, refine, and manage data from various sources that are crucial for important business decision making. The developer must understand the context in which the business operates and the overall business requirements.

  • Collaborate with Business Analysts, discussed and identified the analytics requirements to be obtained from various user groups.
  • Design and develop Reports and Dashboards as outlined in the Business Requirements Document and facilitate acceptable performance of navigation and drill down capabilities within reports.
  • Work collaboratively in a team environment with a strong focus on customer service and solution ownership.
  • Provide applicable knowledge transfer to both business users and technical support staff as applicable throughout the life of the engagement (Including documentation for the knowledge transfers).
  • Design star schemas, reporting data mart, define table joint in the database physical layer or external data sources and the new complex joint key to form relationships between fact and dimensional tables.
  • Perform migration of new Projects and enhancements from Development to Production environment.'
  • Perform testing, compare the expected and actual results with data to ensure result accuracy

Hands-on experience on:

  • Oracle Analytics Server / OBIEE / SAP BusinessObject
  • SQL
  • Data Modelling
  • Data Visualization design

Ideal to have but not pre-requisite:

  • IBM Cognos, Tableau, PowerBI, Qlik
  • Unix AIX basic command & shell scripts
  • PL/SQL, HTML
  • Oracle DB / Teradata / SQL Server / Essbase
