RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Provide support and daily issue resolution.

2. Identifying, diagnosing, and resolving the level one issues in computer hardware, Servers, Networks and software as laptops and PCs

3. Deploy and manage server/storage/network technologies such as Active Directory, DNS VMware Virtualization, backup, Firewall, CCTV, access point controller, replication and storage system.

4. Installing and upgrading hardware and software and providing complete assistance while configuring hardware, software, and peripherals of the end user systems

5. Manage and maintain the company Core Application such as OMS, WMS and Parcel tracking application

6. Maintains accurate IT asset inventory and assist in acquisition, deployment, support, and retiring of IT assets based on established IT life cycle management.

7. Coordinating with the third party service provider for timely repair of the system under the maintenance agreement warranty, and repairing minor flaws in hardware if not covered under the same

8. Respond to help desk tickets within established service levels for PC related issues.

9. Work to research and document help desk tickets which become maintenance and enhancement requests.

10. Provide a timely response to telephone, email and tickets requests from users.

11. Provide timely communication to users regarding all aspects of the end-user services.

12. Prepare monthly reports regarding user requests and performance statistics.

13. Supporting and assisting colleagues and working with other support groups and vendors for solving issues

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Diploma Degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent.
  • Two or more years of experience as a helpdesk support
  • Experience in managing, supporting and maintaining Server or System ITSM, Active Directories, Firewall and solving technical problems
  • Advanced knowledge of computer hardware, and software systems
  • Have a strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skill, good communication and pleasant personality
  • In depth knowledge of Wintel (multiple Windows versions) essential
  • Knowledge of virtualization and cloud technologies such as VMWare, Hyper-V, AWS, Azure
  • Knowledge or experienced in Firewall solutions such as Fortinet
  • Well verse knowledge in IP protocol (TCP/IP) networking routing and switching protocols, VPN, Firewall, Wireless Access Point
  • Basic knowledge on Backup Solutions and VOIP solutions.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Contract

Pay: RM2,155.96 - RM4,433.26 per month
