The incumbent will support all projects related to C4 & C5 project management and implementation, SST innovation, and strategic partnerships. This role involves engaging with various stakeholders (both internal and external) to ensure that approved, in-progress, and planned projects are executed effectively in line with the strategic direction.
- Strategic and Detailed Execution: Operate at both a high level to deliver on branch strategy and at a detailed level to ensure the successful management and execution of project deliverables.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Interact and communicate effectively with senior management and stakeholders across multiple divisions/departments.
- Team Guidance: Provide guidance and support to team members at all levels to ensure project goals are met.
Definitions:
- C4: Pop-Up Branch with convenient banking services and staff advisory.
- C5: Standalone machines (ATM, CDM, CRT, and Cash360).
Project Planning
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze data and prepare presentations based on Management’s requirements.
- Strategic Direction: Provide strategic direction for overall C4 & C5 project activities to ensure projects are delivered within the agreed timeline.
- Risk Management: Strategize and steer the project working team efforts to maximize profits and minimize losses, while identifying and preparing for potential roadblocks and risks.
Project Execution
- Business Development: Propose C4 & C5 projects to create business opportunities and enhance profitability through operational efficiency with minimal costs.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Ensure consistency in project delivery across various cross-functional teams.
- Issue Resolution: Arrange meetings, troubleshoot, and resolve issues promptly.
- Compliance: Ensure full compliance with all matters related to branch project initiatives as set out by the Bank and BNM.
- Communication and Reporting: Maintain regular communications and provide project updates to project leadership, sponsors, stakeholders, and project working committees.
- Escalation: Escalate all issues and risks to Management for resolution.
Team Guidance: Guide and advise team members on all matters related to projects.
Requirements
- Malaysian Citizen
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in financial sector, with at least 5 years’ experience in Project Management.
- Prior experience in financial sector project management will be an added advantage.
- A proven track record of consistent performance and achievement.
