Receiving cum Storekeeper

Work Location : Damansara Perdana (DPAC Empire Damansara)

· Receive, inspect, and record posting invoice incoming deliveries of food and beverage products at receiving area.

· Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and ensure proper stock rotation (FIFO - First In, First Out).

· Conduct weekly regular physical counts of stock to reconcile discrepancies and update inventory system with cost control as witness.

· Organize and maintain the storage area to optimize space utilization and facilitate easy access to products.

· Implement proper storage methods to ensure the freshness and quality of perishable goods.

· Monitor and report any damaged or expired products, ensuring the removal of such items from inventory to end user and procurement.

· Collaborate with the procurement to address quality and receiving issues with suppliers promptly.

· Prepare and pack items for delivery or transfer to other locations within the establishment. (e.g Every Thursday LaLamove to Pineyard branch)

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all transactions, including receipts, issues, and returns to procurement team.

· Prepare weekly reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and consumption patterns.

· Coordinate with procurement and end user to understand upcoming demand and adjust inventory levels accordingly.

· Communicate effectively with suppliers and delivery personnel to ensure smooth and accurate deliveries on the approval of procurement arrangements.

· Adhere to health and safety regulations in the storage and handling of food products.

· Implement proper hygiene practices to prevent contamination and ensure food safety.

· Ensure the proper maintenance and cleanliness of storage equipment, such as shelves, racks, and refrigeration units.

· Report any equipment malfunctions or issues to the relevant departments.

· Conduct month end inventory stock count with cost controller/procurement at designated area.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,500.00 per month

Experience:

• Accounting: 1 year (Preferred)
