Embroidery Designer

Responsibilities:

- Create eye-catching and beautiful embroidery designs that will be used to decorate garments, fabrics, and other items.

- Be creative and knowledgeable about the various types of fabrics and materials available, as well as the various embroidery techniques that can be used to create unique designs.

- Must be able to hand-draw the deigns and translate onto fabrics.

- Able to work with a variety of materials, including fabrics, threads, needles, and stabilizers, to create the desired effect

- Interpret designer’s requests and create designs that meet their specifications.

- Must be able to keep up with the latest trends in the industry, as well as have an understanding of the basics of color theory and composition.

- Able to operate the various machines and tools that are used to create the designs. This includes basic knowledge of the machines and how to use them to create the desired effect.

- Able to troubleshoot any issues that may arise during production.

- Require to work within tight deadlines and stay organized when working on multiple projects at once.

- Communicate effectively with the designers and other staff to ensure that the finished product meets their expectations.

Requirements:

· Proven at least 2 years experience and expertise in cloth embroidery techniques types, including sizes, colors, and finishes, with an understanding of their properties and best uses on fabric surfaces.

· Excellent hand-eye coordination.

· Creativity and the ability to interpret design concepts and translate them into visually appealing embroidery on fabrics and garments.

· Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a team environment and follow design briefs.

· Knowledge of fashion trends and embroidery types.

· Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,200.00 per month
