We are seeking a dynamic and analytical Cross Border Business Account Manager to expand our direct-to-consumer (D2C) business across Southeast Asia (SEA). This role is critical for evaluating brand potential, and developing comprehensive marketing strategies for introducing new brands to local markets in the SEA region. The role will also oversee key operations, merchandising, and buying activities to ensure seamless marketplace growth.

What You'll Do

Market & Brand Evaluation:

  • Conduct in-depth evaluations of brand potential in the SEA market.
  • Identify market gaps and opportunities for launching new brands across the region.

P&L Management:

  • Oversee and manage the full Profit & Loss (P&L) for the regional cross-border D2C business.
  • Drive financial performance and ensure profitability of all cross-border operations.

Marketing Strategy Development:

  • Develop and implement marketing plans tailored to SEA's local markets to build and grow new brands.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure marketing strategies align with overall brand goals and local market trends.

Marketing Research:

  • Conduct comprehensive market research to understand local consumer behavior, competitor analysis, and product positioning.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to inform marketing strategies and decision-making processes.

SEA Market Expertise:

  • Stay up to date on market trends, consumer preferences, and regulations in the SEA region.
  • Ensure that the D2C strategies are adapted to the nuances of each local market within SEA.

Operations:

  • Maintain relationships with cross-border brand principals,and internal team ensuring service levels meet expectations.
  • Lead strategy planning, management, forecasts, and results, including short- and long-term objectives, customer metrics, and overall performance.
  • Develop internal reports and reporting formats.

Buying:

  • Develop and implement assortment and inventory plans to align with sales goals.
  • Work with the operations team to maximize inventory efficiency.
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations for new marketplace channels and growth opportunities.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with teams across e-commerce, marketing, product development, and logistics to optimize cross-border operations.
  • Coordinate with key stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of brand launches and marketing initiatives.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in D2C, e-commerce, or cross-border business management, preferably within the SEA market.
  • Strong understanding of P&L management and financial performance analysis.
  • Proven experience in evaluating brand potential and developing marketing strategies for new brand launches.
  • Solid background in market research and data analysis.
  • Experience in operations, merchandising, and buying within a marketplace setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving skills.
