Manager (Tax & Finance Operations)

Manager (Tax & Finance Operation) shall be responsible for efficient and effective management of Tax and Finance Operation functions to support the Company to achieve the objectives and performance target set by the management. Primary duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Review and validate the recording of transactions in General Ledger in order to ensure accuracy and reliability of the financial data.

2. Preparation of monthly management accounts, annual budget and other financial reports as required by holding company.

3. Review and validate documentations for payment processing in accordance with internal guidelines and Limit of Authority.

4. Preparation of creditors and debtors balance reconciliation and ageing report.

5. Responsible for the compliance of the company taxation matters with the statutory requirements on all applicable direct taxes and indirect taxes at all times.

6. Computation and submission of statutory Annual Tax Return in accordance with the dateline set by the IRB further to clearance by Group COE Tax.

7. Computation and submission of initial estimated tax payable for the year and subsequent revisions.

8. Preparation of tax computation for monthly management account, budget and forecast.

9. Attend to queries and resolve issues in relation to payment and tax matters.

10. To review and update the financial procedures and guidelines in order to ensure consistency with the actual practices.

11. Responsible for safeguarding the financial documents for future reference as required under the law.

12. Provide guidance and training to all staff under supervision to ensure staff competency and development are in line with the objectives on human resources.

13. Support the implementation of company-wide initiatives/program on Quality Management and OSHE.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
