JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Min Qualification: Certificate in culinary/apprenticeship/training/ mid-level management/Food Safety Handling (HACCP)/Basic Food Hygiene
  • Min Experience at least 4 years working in kitchen and management experience involving kitchen safety, sanitation and food handling.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Overseas preparation, cooking and presentation of culinary dishes in the kitchen of branded outlet.
  • Enforces strict health and hygiene standards in kitchen and manage any problem that may arise.
  • Responsible for the basic day-to-day section training of the Commis and Demi Chef de Partie as required.
  • Check all mise-en-place comply with kitchen standard carried out on specific section by Commis or Demi Chef.
  • Support staff at all times to ensure teamwork mainted.
  • Report any kitchen hazard or breakage to Senior Chef de Partie.
  • Responsible for delivery quantity of food timely within a short space of time during heavy peak demand.
  • Strong delegation skills essential to lead team members in a busy cooking environment.
  • Strong training skill to coach Commis and/or Cook.
