Quality Control Specialist

- Responsible for inspecting machines imported from China to ensure quality control of the products produced. - Responsible for training local employees in the manufacturing process to meet the quality standards set by the related company in China. - Responsible in reviewing the production process, testing products, developing new manufacturing checkpoints and creating reports on the results. - Responsible to perform visual inspections of wood products, including boards, panels, furniture components and finished products. - Responsible to ensure the company adhere to product quality and employee safety standards set by state and federal laws. - Responsible to inspect product materials and electrical systems for defects and durability. - Conduct material tests to assess properties such as hardness, moisture content, density, and strength. - Responsible for preparing reports on malfunctions of production equipment and providing corrective actions. - Responsible to review current blueprints and product quality documentation. - Identify and categorize defects, such as knots, splits, warping, or discoloration, and determine their impact on product quality. - Responsible to develop and initiate quality standards for tests, inspections, and evaluations. - Responsible to solve the quality issues and provide necessary solutions to improve and solve the quality problems. - Responsible to support the quality systems and consult in the preparation of technical documents for review and submission to regulatory and accrediting agencies. - Responsible to attend meeting to update the work progress with team members. - Ensure knowledge are up to date with the latest technologies and apply in the company’s systems to increase productivity. - Design and develop forms and instructions for evaluating, assessing, reporting, and documenting on quality standards in products or services. - Develop strategies to evaluate precision and accuracy of analytical equipment, tests & measurements, and production equipment. - Responsible for troubleshooting and resolving problems relating to quality control aspects. - Direct and assist technical and professional staff in measuring and testing a product or a service. - Tabulate and document data relating to products, processes, materials, its qualities, and reliabilities. - Research, study, compile and prepare material on quality control activities, processes, and procedures. - Responsible to train staff, technicians, and professionals on the aspects of quality control activities. - Coordinate with external quality assurance auditors and technicians to ensure legal compliance. - Work with internal teams to increase customer satisfaction by improving the quality of the products and services.
