Rig Mover

- The Rig Mover is responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of moving drilling rigs and associated equipment between drilling sites. This role ensures that all rig-moving activities comply with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies, while minimizing downtime and optimizing operational efficiency. - Plan and supervise the movement of drilling rigs and related equipment from one site to another. - Ensure all equipment, tools, and rig components are safely dismantled, loaded, transported, and reassembled at the new site. - Coordinate with contractors, truck drivers, crane operators, and rig personnel to ensure the timely and safe movement of equipment. - Monitor weather conditions and other environmental factors to ensure safe operations. - Enforce adherence to safety protocols and industry standards during all rig-moving operations. - Conduct regular safety meetings and ensure all personnel involved in the move are trained in safe work practices. - Identify and mitigate potential hazards during rig moves, ensuring that all tasks are performed in accordance with safety regulations (e.g., OSHA, HSE). - Develop and implement a detailed rig move plan, including route surveys, permits, and necessary logistics. - Liaise with project managers, drilling supervisors, and third-party service providers to ensure coordination and seamless operations. - Ensure that all required permits and approvals are obtained for road transportation of heavy equipment. - Ensure that all rig-moving equipment (e.g., cranes, trucks, winches) is properly maintained and inspected prior to use. - Report and address any equipment malfunctions or maintenance issues promptly. - Maintain accurate records of rig moves, including equipment inventories, safety reports, and transportation details. - Provide regular updates to management and clients regarding the progress and completion of rig moves
