Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching: Develop and deliver comprehensive and engaging lectures, seminars, and practical sessions for medical students, residents, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Curriculum Development: Contribute to the development, evaluation, and enhancement of medical curricula, ensuring alignment with educational objectives and accreditation standards.
  • Research: Engage in scholarly activities, including clinical research, translational research, and educational research, with a focus on advancing medical knowledge and improving patient outcomes.
  • Patient Care: Participate in clinical services within the medical school’s affiliated healthcare facilities, delivering expert medical care and contributing to interdisciplinary patient management.
  • Professional Development: Stay abreast of advances in medical education, healthcare delivery, and medical technology through continuing education, professional conferences, and collaboration with peers.
  • Community Engagement: Foster partnerships with local healthcare providers, community organizations, and patient advocacy groups to promote health education and address community health needs.

Qualifications:

  • Must have MBBS/MD or equivalent medical degree listed in Malaysian Medical Council
  • Must posses a postgraduate degree from relevant field. A postgraduate degree recognized by the National Specialist Register of Malaysia (NSR) is an added advantage for clinical subjects at the Seremban campus.
  • Registrable with the MMC and able to attain an Annual Practicing Certificate (APC).
  • Previous experience teaching medical students and residents in an academic or clinical setting, with a demonstrated ability to facilitate active learning and critical thinking.
  • Record of scholarly activity, including publications in peer-reviewed journals, presentations at scientific conferences, and grant funding (preferred).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and interact professionally with patients, colleagues, and students.
  • Commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in medical education and healthcare delivery.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM15,000.00 per month
