Job Description
The Human Resources Assistant manages the overall provision of Human Resources services, policies, and programs for the region in line with Global HR. The major areas directed are:
- Work closely with the business leaders as a strategic partner to consult, coach and challenge them on HR matters
- First point of contact for employees & managers to provide coaching and support for individual needs on HR processes
- Take initiatives to improve overall effectiveness of HR processes
- Establish, implement and review HR policies and practices to be aligned with local labour legislation
- Cultivate and promote employee engagement across the business and working with leaders to manage staff churn
- Work with the leaders in the business on talent mapping projects to build up the internal talent pool and succession planning
- Oversee, guide and check monthly payroll are performed accurately and timely with supporting documents and as per local legislations
- Facilitate talent development by working closely with the regional L&D team
- Work closely with line managers to provide coaching on performance management and annual review are conducted in accordance to corporate guidelines
- Conducting of onboarding initiatives as first point of contact to the new joiners.
Qualifications
- Degree in Human Resources Management or any equivalent field
- At least 3 years of relevant working experience in HR, preferably from Shared Services environment
- Good communication skills with stakeholders' management experience
- Candidate with regional exposures is a plus
- Demonstrates a commitment to exceed objectives, both individually and as part of the team.
- The role requires essential skills in Communication written and oral, Interpersonal Skills, Creativity & Flexibility, Analytical, Problem Solving, and Networking Skills.
