JOB DESCRIPTION: Good knowledge of vendor sourcing and selection practices (researching, evaluating, and liaising with vendors) Negotiate with suppliers for the best purchase price, credit terms whilst ensuring the consistency of the supply and quality reliability and services from the vendors. Maintaining the supplier database, purchase records, and related documentation in system and keep up to date. Managing daily purchasing activities to ensure no interruption in operation. Coordinate and liaise with the relevant departments on their purchase requirement Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards in procurement activities Evaluate supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationship. Request for quotations & materials sample from potential suppliers, manufacturers and contractors. Evaluate the prices and quality on materials quoted by the potential suppliers, manufacturers and contractors. Prepare all relevant department reports JOB REQUIREMENT: Must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent At least 1-2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia and English Strong negotiation and communication skills Proficient in using Microsoft Office tools.
