JOB SUMMARY

This position is an extension of the current Corporate Accounts Receivable’s dept. This position is focus on Group Account Receivables management reporting covering all business segmentations. Assist in carrier provisioning closing activities.

Key Result Areas

  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of AR schedules or reports.
  • Provide variance analysis for unusual AR trending to management for further actions.
  • Ensure provisions made for bad debt, asset impairment according to company’s policy.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Prepare weekly and monthly AR Aging reporting and slides for Group and Carrier
  2. Analyze AR Ageing reports and provide variance analysis. Liaise with stakeholders, agency and GBS to understand the issue and challenges
  3. Prepare periodically AR KPI reports for GBS, Agency
  4. Conduct analysis for groups’ DSO performance by Business units
  5. Involve in AR Dashboard development and validation.
  6. Perform analysis of carrier bad debt provision with journal entry postings
  7. Prepare monthly provision movement report
  8. Perform write off/ adjustment/ cancellation request in system
  9. Prepare year end reporting and/or audit queries
  10. Assist ad-hoc request and project assigned

JOB REQUIREMENT

  1. Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree Finance/ Accountancy/ Banking, Commerce or equivalent.
  2. Minimum 1 to 3 years related working experience is preferred. Experience in handling big data, exploratory analysis and data crunching is a must.
  3. Basic knowledge of shipping or logistics industry is an advantage.
  4. Experience in a Shared Service Centre is an advantage
  5. Good English – writing & speaking skills, Computer literate.
  6. Proficient with Microsoft applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.)
  7. Knowledge of SAP system is preferred.
  8. Integrity with a deep sense of trust and have a strong responsibility to assigned tasks.
  9. Be customer focused with a strong sense of urgency, drive for results, good problem solving and analytical skills.
  10. Meticulous enough to complete tasks with minimal margin for error.
  11. Ability to learn new knowledge and skills very quickly.
  12. Self-motivated and willing to work under pressure.
  13. Ability to work under minimum supervision and part of Team, exhibit a high level of teamwork
