Inviting applications for the role of Accountant (Country Finance/Record to Report) role

In this role, you will collaborate inside the company with members of the same team or other teams to accomplish the allocated tasks. Responsible to maintain proper accounting records and ensure compliance with accounting policies and SOX control. Ensure expenses are correctly captured in respective cost center.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly journals based on a defined list or as directed to close the books at month end.
• Prepare monthly accounts analysis of Balance Sheet items and ensure proper reclassification and balances is valid.
• Perform month end closing tasks and reporting per defined timeline.
• Perform intercompany billings and accounting based on defined list, procedure or when directed
• Perform monthly intercompany confirmation with other entities.
• Perform payment and reconciliation.
• Responsible to maintain proper accounting records and ensure compliance with accounting policies and SOX control.
• Ensure expenses are correctly captured in respective cost center.
• Statutory Financial Statements preparation and/or Tax Filing, annual return and all other statutory filing
• Assist on audit request and audit queries.

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Accounting. (Chartered Accountant) CA/ (Certified Public Accountant) CPA preferred.
• Must have at least 5+ years of relevant accounting experiences
• Strong GAAP knowledge and good understanding of controls, policies, compliance and process efficiency
• Good analytical skills.

Preferred qualifications

• SAP Experience
• ACCA/CPA/CIMA
• Audit experience (preferred) and/or commercial background, Share Service Centers (SSC).
