Role Description

This is a contract role for a Data Visualization Expert - Maybank located in Greater Kuala Lumpur. As a Data Visualization Expert, you will be responsible for creating engaging and informative data visualizations, interpreting complex data sets, and providing insights through visual representation. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance data-driven decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Visualization: Utilize tools to create visually compelling reports and dashboards that reflect business requirements and facilitate data-driven decision-making.

• Data Analysis and Mapping: Analyze and map data to ensure accuracy and relevance. This includes data profiling, quality assurance, and transformation processes.

• Financial Data: Transfer and visualize financial data from Excel to PowerPoint, ensuring clarity and accuracy in presentations.

• Collaboration: Work closely with Business Analysts and stakeholders to identify analytics requirements and ensure that visualizations meet business needs.

• Documentation: Provide documentation for knowledge transfers and ensure that both business users and technical staff are informed about data visualization processes and tools.

• Data Quality Management: Monitor and manage data quality, performing data wrangling and profiling to ensure consistency and reliability of data.

Requirements & Skills:

• Data Visualization Tools: Proficiency in tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or SAP Business Objects.

• Data Analysis: Strong skills in data analysis, data mapping, and data profiling.

• Financial Data Handling: Experience in transferring and visualizing financial data.

• Technical Skills: Knowledge of SQL and data modeling.

• Optimization: Ability to optimize data presentation and ensure efficient data management.

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in data visualization and analysis.

Nice to Have:

• Data Streaming and Encryption: Experience with data streaming, masking, and encryption.

• Dashboard Development: Experience with designing and deploying dashboards and scorecards.
