We are looking strengthen our digital & content marketing capabilities with an addition of a Senior Manager to lead our Content Strategy that cuts across media relations, social engagement, thought leadership and brand & product campaigns.

This person must possess a strong grasp of communication fundamentals (consumer insights, messaging strategy, campaign planning, media tactics, digital planning), content creation with the support of external vendors and usage of digital marketing tools.

To ensure continuity to support the existing scope handled by Brand & Comms Team.

Overview

  • Drive and own our content strategy, content calendar and develop engaging content including the media strategy to strengthen our brand presence, brand engagement, thought leadership and increase positive sentiments across our owned platforms, not limited to social.
  • Co-Lead full funnel marketing and/or digital campaigns from concept to execution with the larger B&C team, including lead generation and leads nurturing.
  • Identify and establish effective relationships with potential content partners such as influencer networks, news and lifestyle sites, and more.
  • Manage roster agencies & partners to launch campaigns and maintain an always on brand presence on time and on budget
  • Identify
  • Optimise, deploy MarTech solutions and maintain for our Corporate Website including development of new pages, track performance & optimization of SEO/SEM with the support of media agency.
  • Advise on digital related queries (user journey, campaign set up and tagging, technical support with coordination with regional technologies, etc) to our divisions within PAMB
  • Spur growth of digital competencies & keeping up with latest digital innovations amongst team members.
  • Reporting on performances of campaigns, social assets and CWS, etc.


This position also works across all divisions within PAMB and Marketing team of PruBSN, and thus will require good interpersonal skills.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

Content Lead

  • Working with other divisions within the Marketing Department, deep dive into the understanding (e.g. objective, opportunity, insight, etc), identify suitable content strategies such as social activation campaigns, content sponsorship, KOL engagement to compliments our marketing KPIs & initiatives.
  • From there, partnering agency of roster, craft the product and consumer proposition to clearly identify the role and relevance of the brand/product/service in the lives of TG and develop the content.
  • Continuously improve and optimize messaging and channel strategy across all content related initiatives.


Digital Champion

  • Prioritise, manage, support and execute digital marketing strategy initiatives to achieve company’s goals, brand awareness, engagement objectives and lead to cash (performance marketing) strategy.
  • Collaborate and drive digital marketing strategies while also providing strategic guidance.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate for innovative consumer experience
  • Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies
  • Explore and create opportunities to generate quality sales leads through digital media / digital marketing and advertising campaigns.


Execution Excellence

  • Establish best practice in digital marketing
  • Build and maintain our social media presence
  • Build and maintain our content strategy to improve SEO and though leadership in the health and protection space.
  • Plan, execute and supervise execution of digital marketing activities not limited to integrated brand & product campaigns, digital asset management, SEO/SEM, remarketing, consumer engagement and amplification, and CRM.
  • Garner and evaluate report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
  • Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests
  • Lead generation across all efforts
  • Cost management - to develop, plan and implement cost effective activities / campaigns to secure maximum return on investment whilst ensuring that costs are kept within the approved budget. This requires effective negotiations with vendors and agencies and constant monitoring of the budget.


JOB SPECIFICATION

Experience

  • Minimum 10 years hands on working experience in similar managerial capacity
  • Strong leadership skills and management
  • Experienced in senior stakeholder management


Knowledge & Skill

  • Knowledge and passion for the digital space is a plus
  • Strong communication skills with good command of written and spoken English. Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and/or Chinese is an advantage
  • Demonstrates self-confidence, proactive, and a self-starter
  • Able to multi-task with good organisational skills
  • Good analytical skills, with strong ability to solve problems quickly, think creatively and satisfy internet speed-to-market requirements
  • A leader who cares for the team member(s) and is able to coach and inspire
  • A team player who can work well with counterparts from various functions/departments and has the ability to influence the work of counterparts
  • Skilled at establishing effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Must at least proficient in Microsoft Office solutions (Word, Powerpoint and Excel), Google Analytics and Facebook Analytics.
