Job Title: FPSO Topside Lead

Are you an experience FPSO Topside Lead who is looking for a new 12- month renewable contract working on a residential basis Kuala Lumpur?

For this role the service holder is in charge, within the FPSO team and under the responsibility of the FPSO Technical Manager, of activities related to the topside development of the FPSO. The successful applicant will be required to organise, supervise, control & co-ordinate the relative to the engineering, procurement and construction with regards to topside of the FPSO. He/she will be the focal point for all technical aspects for topside items for the project.

Project Context

The activity takes place in the context of the execution phase of a major project. The GPI is a multidisciplinary team that coordinates the studies managed by the client on the Deep and Shallow Water discoveries of offshore project.

The technical challenges the GPI / Project will face are the reservoir development and management, FPSO, and subsea production/injection system.

The Team will develop the Project with the objectives of maximizing economic results by optimizing the reserves, and the schedule, reducing the costs and the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emission, while maintaining the technical quality of the installations, with high H3SE requirements and focusing.

Qualification

• Qualification: Engineer and/or relevant degree associated with project execution.
• Languages: English fluent, Chinese is a plus.
• Professional Experience: At least 20 years in Oil & Gas projects.
• Experience within project: At least 15 years in Topside engineering, procurement and construction activities.
• Skillful with spirit of synthesis, skills for solving technical issues.
• Have strong skills in technical management and be multitasking.
• Work with a strong team spirit, manage skillfully and efficiently the relationships with GPI team and external teams.
  
  

Activities

• The service holder will follow up the design, procurement and construction performed by the FPSO Contractor/Subcontractors related to topside ensuring all activities related to topside are well captured and properly addressed by the FPSO team.
• The service holder is responsible for ensuring that the elements within his/her scope are fit for the intended purpose, are operable, maintainable and reliable - within the budget and schedule for completion.
• The service holder will adopt and demonstrate an exemplary behaviour with regard to HSSE, respect the Project HSE requirements and ensure application of HSE rules. He/she is also accountable for respecting HSSE rules and ensuring their application within his scope of responsibility.
• For procurement and subcontracts the FPSO topside lead will assist the FPSO procurement lead and the FPSO package leads for all aspects in relation with the procurement and subcontracts of the topside modules.
• The service holder will ensure adequate and timely reporting to the FPSO Technical Manager (progress, concerns), and, as a general manner, shall anticipate problems, potential optimizations, or improvements and proposes solutions with regards to his/her discipline.
