Graphic Designer

JurisTech has been building enterprise-class software for the biggest banks, financial institutions and enterprises for over 25 years. With recent partnerships with iMoney and CTOS, we are looking to accelerate our growth in the banking and financial industry. We’ve started with a strong foothold in Malaysia and presence in Australia, Indonesia, Singapore, Philippines, Cambodia, Brunei and now are expanding locally and globally. As part of our expansion, we are searching for a creative talent to join us as a Graphic Designer.

YOUR MISSION

As an essential member of the Picasso Lab (UI/UX) team, the Graphic Designer at JurisTech will be responsible for creating compelling visuals and character illustrations that embody our GECO values, communicating complex product features, and enhancing our brand as we expand globally in the banking and financial industry. This role focuses on creating visually engaging content that communicates a message and enhances our brand’s image.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Design innovative and visually appealing collaterals in the form of logos, emblems, banners, posters, buntings, t-shirts and other marketing materials for brand, products and events.
2. Create character illustrations that promote our company GECO values.
3. Create infographics that translate complex and boring data into something fun and easy to understand.
4. Study design briefs, communicate with stakeholders to establish their needs and translate that understanding via mock-ups.
5. Tell a story with compelling visuals that can be used in product presentations.
6. Present ideas to stakeholders clearly and work with other teams to produce content.
7. Ability to edit videos for recruitment and events.
8. Identify opportunities for improvements and offer solutions.
9. Actively follow and stay relevant with design trends.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

1. Have 1 year and above working experience in a creative agency or similar environment.
2. A keen eye for typography, colour theory and layout hierarchy to develop clean and modern designs.
3. Possess intermediate level skills in using Adobe Creative Cloud – Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign.
4. Ability to draw character illustrations.
5. Ability to create or maintain a cohesive visual identity, including logo design, brand colors, fonts, and other brand elements.
6. Strong ability to present and explain design concepts to non-designers, collaborate with the management and other teams, and incorporate feedback.
7. Ability to manage time, meet deadlines, and handle multiple projects in a fast paced, high-pressure environment.
8. Independence to seek inspiration for designs and collaborate well across teams.
9. Acute attention to details including completing all design needs according to specifications, proofreading and ensuring that the final output is high quality and error-free.
10. Knowledge of prepress; Understanding print specifications and file formats for various printing methods.
11. Understanding of the fundamentals of UX.
12. Ability to work with After Effects and Premiere Pro are advantages.
13. Familiarity with Figma or other interface design and prototyping apps is a major plus.

Successful candidates will be required to work in the Bangsar South area.
