Job Purpose

  • To carry out Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental Management System duties in ETC.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assist in implementing QHSE policies and practices.

2. Assist in planning, organizing and monitoring QHSEMS programs.

3. Assist in submitting annual KJTS JKKP 8 reports and other related reports/documents to DOSH, including incident and accident reporting.

4. To plan and carry out monthly site inspections, and report on findings from various sites of ETC.

5. Carry out monthly site inspection, monitoring and reports on various sites of ETC.

6. To plan and conduct evacuation drills for ETC and assist in conducting for various sites of ETC.

7. Identify, update the legal register, and conduct the evaluation of compliance of legal aspects for ETC.

8. To carry out QHSEFM Internal Audit for ETC and manage External Audit for ETC.

9. Monitor DOSH, DOE, KKM, MKN, and CIDB websites for any updates and report to ETC Management.

10. Monitor and ensure all non-conformance of QHSEMS are closed and its recommendations are being implemented.

11. Prepare Quality, Health and Safety related memos, news, alerts, brochures, notes, etc. which will be distributed to all sites of ETC.

12. Identify training needs and prepare training material and carry out training for various sites of ETC.

13. Record first aid cases, inspection of first aid kits, and fire extinguishers and maintain the contents of the ETC office and applicable sites.

14. Review, update, and control QHSEMS related manual, procedures, work instructions and forms when required/ periodically of ETC.

15. Prepare and provide information for tender requirements and support BD and other related groups.

16. Conduct QHSE Induction for new staff.

17. Review the Risk & Opportunity Management Register of ETC at a specified period.

18. Review EAIA on various sites of ETC operations at a specified period.

19. Collect data and maintain Monthly HSE Performance Reports from ETC.

20. Submit applicable claims and documents for claims to SOCSO, PERKESO, DOSH, etc.

21. Any other QHSE-related duties as instructed by ETC.

22. To create, update, implement and audit RBA policies and practices for ETC and all related sites.


AUTHORITIES:

  • Issue reminder notices to various site leaders on the QHSE non-compliance after consultation with the ETC QHSE Manager and KJTS Senior QHSE Manager.
  • Authorised to conduct internal audits of all respective subsidiaries/sites yearly.
  • Authorised to issue non-conformance throughout organization on any non-compliances notified/raised.
  • Authorised to follow up on any pending issues regarding QHSE and Facility Management.

Requirements

QUALIFICATION

  • Minimum Diploma in Safety & Health Management or relevant qualification.


EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 2-5 years relevant experience, preferably those familiar with safety requirements HVAC industry, cleaning industry, building construction, plant operations and maintenance.


KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 41001 Standards.
  • Understanding of QHSE & FM Standards practices.
  • Good communication skills and able to interact well with personnel at all levels within the organization, supplier, sub-contractor, customers and site staff.
