  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/ Degree in Business Studies, International Business, Leasing Management or any other related field.
  • Possess own transport and willing to travel.
  • Good communication in both written and spoken (English & Bahasa Malaysia)
  • Willing to work in Subang Jaya.

Responsibilities:

  • Identifying and sourcing for new locations.
  • Market analysis on potential sites & site visits to conduct feasibility studies to be presented to Management for approval and further discussions. This includes running the Performance Evaluation Study (PES) to look into viability of commercial terms at said location.
  • Proposing possible concept positioning in line with demographics and target market at locations.
  • Negotiate favorable terms and conditions for lease tenancy.
  • Preparing and vetting through of Tenancy/Legal documents (This includes ensuring deposits related to the TA is paid in a timely manner).
  • Maintaining and Updating of Rental Listing for monthly submission to Finance Dept to ensure timely payment of monthly rentals.
  • Maintaining Tenancy Listing – negotiations of Renewal Tenancies.
  • To coordinate and ensure submission and approval of Fit Out drawings are completed to enable store openings on targeted date.
  • Liaison on resolving any issues (Operational/Maintenance) that may arise between other departments and Landlord – last line of defense as Retail Development Department (RDD) will only liaise with the Leasing Dept to request for assistance.
  • Rental Rebates &/or assistance from Landlords on non-performing stores (Cost Savings)

Job Type: Internship
Contract length: 4 months

Pay: RM800.00 - RM1,200.00 per month
