Operations Manager (Insurance Industry)

Overview:

As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the operations department to ensure efficient and effective processes that align with the company's objectives. You will lead a team, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and act as a key liaison between operations and senior management.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee Operational Efficiency: Manage daily operations to ensure processes are optimized and aligned with company goals.
• Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Work with cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues and ensure smooth workflows.
• Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives to optimize workflows, reduce costs, and enhance service quality.
• Data-Driven Decision-Making: Use data and KPIs to monitor performance, drive strategic planning, and improve operational efficiency.
• Escalation Management: Handle escalations by resolving issues directly with customers and implementing long-term solutions.
• Monitoring and Updates: Ensure all monitoring processes are up-to-date and take proactive steps to address any operational challenges.

Requirements

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in operations management, with a focus on sales management and achieving sales targets.
• Proven track record of successful business expansion and team leadership.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data-driven insights for decision-making and strategic planning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise between the operations team and senior management.
• Experience in monitoring KPIs and using them to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of operational processes.
• Proven ability to handle escalations, resolve issues with customers, and implement long-term solutions.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and lead a high-performing team.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and highly competitive.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and the ability to ensure all processes are up-to-date and aligned with company objectives.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
