An Accounts Executive cum Payroll Administrator is a dual-role position combining financial accounting responsibilities with payroll management.
- Financial Reporting: Preparing and maintaining financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Managing invoices, payments, and collections, ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Assisting in the development of budgets, monitoring actuals against budgeted figures, and helping forecast future financial performance.
- Bank Reconciliation: Ensuring that all financial transactions are accurately reflected by reconciling bank statements with the company's financial records.
- Tax Compliance: Ensuring timely and accurate submission of tax returns, SST filings, or other financial reports in accordance with local regulations.
- Audit Preparation: Assisting with the preparation for audits by providing required financial documents and reports.
- Payroll Processing: Accurately calculating and processing employee salaries, bonuses, commissions, and other pay-related items, ensuring timely payment.
- Tax and Statutory Deductions: Managing payroll tax, insurance, pension contributions, and any other statutory deductions, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws.
- Payroll Queries: Addressing employee queries related to pay, benefits, tax withholdings, and other compensation matters.
- Record Keeping: Maintaining detailed payroll records, including timesheets, overtime, sick leaves, vacation days, and any other variables affecting pay.
- Compliance: Ensuring that the organization is compliant with labor laws and regulations concerning wages, taxes, and employee benefits.
- Reporting: Preparing reports for management and external agencies, like monthly payroll summaries, year-end reports, and tax filings.
Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and payroll systems.
- Proficiency in accounting software (such as QuickBooks) and payroll systems.
- Attention to detail, particularly when it comes to financial accuracy and payroll compliance.
- Good understanding of local labor laws and taxation regulations.
- Strong communication skills, both for internal financial discussions and handling employee payroll queries.
- At least 3-5 years working experience in relevant industry
- At least Diploma Certificates in Accounting/Finance
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Kuala Lumpur: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
