Boilerman Grade 1

1. Operate and maintain high-pressure boilers, ensuring they run efficiently and safely.

2. Monitor gauges, controls, and water levels to ensure optimal pressure, temperature, and steam levels for the production processes.

3. Regularly check fuel supply systems (whether gas, oil, or biomass) and ensure continuous, reliable steam generation.

4. Perform regular inspections to detect malfunctions, wear, or potential hazards.

5. Conduct scheduled maintenance such as cleaning, lubrication, and replacement of parts (E.g. valves, burners, pumps).

6. Ensure proper treatment of boiler water to avoid scaling, corrosion, and other damage.

7. Ensure compliance with local and national safety regulations, including Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards, as well as industry-specific guidelines.

8. Conduct safety tests on boiler equipment (E.g. safety valves and pressure relief systems).

9. Keep accurate logs of inspections, repairs, and safety checks, reporting any deviations or incidents immediately.

10. Diagnose and repair boiler issues to prevent downtime in the production process. (Handle emergency situations like pressure build-up or fuel leakage promptly and safely)

11. Coordinate with external contractors for major repairs or overhauls.

12. Monitor fuel consumption and make recommendations for energy-saving improvements.

13. Adjust boiler operations to reduce waste and optimize steam use for the various food production processes.

14. Maintain detailed records of boiler operations, fuel usage and maintenance activities.

15. Work closely with production teams to ensure timely and efficient steam supply for sterilization, pasteurization, or other processes in the food production line.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month

License/Certification:
