About this role We are looking for Clerk of work for one of our projects. you will play a crucial role in maintaining our commitment to excellence and precision in every project we undertake. Your attention to detail and dedication will help shape the success of our endeavours. What We're Looking For: • Candidate must be a registered with CIDB Malaysia and carry the Green Card. • With minimum ten (10) years working experience in construction site and supervises the works including earthworks, piling, slopes, retaining walls, roadworks, drainage, pilecap construction, etc. • Able to liaise with both Consultants and Contractors for all construction related issues and to report to Consultant the progress in regular basis. • Good verbal and written communication skills in English & Bahasa Malaysia. What You'll Do: 1. Supervision and monitoring construction works in accordance with the contracts, construction drawings and procedures and method statement. 2. Inspect and monitor each stage of construction works including infrastructure works, piling, structural works, and external works. 3. Regularly report to relevant superiors on the progress of works, preparing and update daily progress report. 4. To attend all site meetings and technical meetings 5. To ensure that works are carried out in compliance with local authority requirements. 6. To conduct QA/QC and regular inspection and ensure all works are completed with good workmanship and meet standards set by the Engineer and the Employer. 7. To identify all outstanding works and problems encountered on site and propose mitigation solution. 8. To ensure that materials used are in accordance with contract specifications. 9. To assist on site valuations in verifying contractors’ work done in the progress claims. 10. Verification and documentation of all testing performed on site materials and systems. 11. To maintain all relevant forms, documents, correspondences, and records in respect to daily work records.
