Sensory Panel Member

The Company Our Client is a leading market research company based in Malaysia, specializing in consumer insights and product evaluation. They seek to deliver actionable feedback and deep understanding of consumer preferences to help their clients enhance products and services. They conduct comprehensive research across a wide range of consumer products, leveraging their expertise to provide valuable insights that drive innovation and improve market outcomes. They are currently seeking dedicated sensory panelists to join their team to evaluate food and beverages. Scope & Responsibilities of the Role Participate in regular sensory evaluations, including taste tests, aroma assessments, and texture analysis Provide detailed and accurate feedback on sensory attributes Be trained in specific methodology to describe and rate sensory attributes, including appearance, aromas, flavours and textures in food and beverage products Attend scheduled panel sessions and training as required. Requirements The schedule for panel sessions will be given to panelists. Hours of session: 9am – 12noon. Days: Tuesday – Friday (3 days in a week) Panelist will need to contribute 36 hours per month (3 hours per session, 3 sessions per week). Panelist will be evaluating beverage product (coffee), at the sensory lab, located at Masai Johor Panelist is to evaluate and provide feedback upon tasting various samples of beverage The product is HALAL. Kindly note: The screening sessions for this role are scheduled from 22 October 2024 to 24 October 2024 (1.5 hours each day). Candidates selected for the screening sessions must be able to attend all 3 days’ of the screening sessions. Candidates who attend all 3 days of the screening sessions will receive a token sum of RM50 as compensation for travelling Candidates who are subsequently shortlisted to be hired as Sensory Panelist can expect to be paid RM35/ hour for the role.
