Engineer LTP

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. To manage the operations of the WSF and co-ordinate the integration of maintenance activities, setting priorities on a daily basis and defining the operational concerns with regard to long term planning requirements. 2. To ensure operational problems are being tackled and troubleshooting activities are being carried out when required 3. Provides proactive supervision to ensure the WSF is operating as to maintain safety, environmental, and operational priorities at the optimum production level 4. To ensure critical plant parameters are within the target and provide guidance and advice for corrective action in the event of any plant upsets or hiccups which include conducting investigation/troubleshooting 5. Be knowledgeable on how to achieve operating targets and strategies (KPI), and lead the operating team to achieve those results 6. To prepare and forecast plant production planning and communicate effectively with shift team leader to ensure the target is achieved 7. To properly plan for equipment handover to maintenance in order to achieve minimum equipment downtime. 8. To review and update operational work process update and review i.e risk assessment (RA), standard operating procedure (SOP) 9. To ensure operation procedures are available and are adhered to in the operations of the WSF. 10. To ensure that all maintenance work is released out in accordance with the company's 'Safety from the System' procedures. QUALIFICATION 1. Bachelor’s degree or suitable technical qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. 2. Substantial knowledge of engineering practices, functions and processes involved in power plant operation. 3. Good leadership skills proven in a multicultural environment. 4. Knowledge of typical legislation associated with plant operation. 5. The ability to communicate effectively in English. 6. A good understanding of necessary environmental controls and typical reporting requirements. 7. Knowledge of risk management techniques. 8. Knowledge of commercial processes and budgeting experience.
