Supervision and Team Management:
· Supervise a team of cashiers, ensuring they adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) for cash handling and customer service.
· Conduct regular training for cashier staff on best practices, customer service, and POS system usage.
· Schedule and assign cashier duties to ensure optimal staffing coverage during peak and non-peak periods.
Cash Handling & Reconciliation:
· Oversee daily cash flow and ensure that cash registers are properly balanced at the end of each shift.
· Perform daily reconciliations of cash receipts with sales records and prepare cash deposits for bank submission.
· Monitor and manage float funds, ensuring adequate cash is available for operations while minimizing excess cash in hand.
Void Transaction Management:
· Oversee the process of voiding transactions, ensuring compliance with company policies.
· Ensure that all voided transactions are recorded accurately and justifications are documented with proper approvals.
· Review and approve void reasons submitted by cashier staff.
Reporting:
· Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports, including sales performance, discrepancies, and cash variances, to the Finance and Operations Managers.
· Compile monthly arcade sales reports, ranking sales from highest to lowest, and provide analysis on trends and opportunities for improvement.
· Monitor and report any cash discrepancies or suspicious activities to the Finance or Operations Manager.
POS System Management:
· Ensure proper use of the Point of Sale (POS) system by all cashiering staff.
· Assist in troubleshooting technical issues with the POS system and liaise with the IT department for repairs or updates.
· Ensure all cashiering staff log in and out of the POS system at the start and end of each shift.
Customer Service:
· Address customer complaints or concerns related to payments, refunds, and transactions in a timely and professional manner.
· Ensure all cashiers deliver excellent customer service, aligning with customer service standards.
Compliance and Auditing:
· Ensure all cash handling processes comply with internal controls and company policies.
· Support internal and external audits by providing relevant documentation and clarifications as needed.
· Conduct surprise audits on cashiers to verify compliance with company policies.
Other Duties:
· Participate in cross-departmental projects or initiatives, as required by management.
· Assist in any other tasks assigned by the Finance Manager or Operations Manager to support business objectives.
Skills & Qualifications:
Education:
· Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience:
· Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cashiering or financial management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Skills:
· Strong leadership and team management skills.
· High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
· Proficiency in using POS systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work independently under pressure and handle sensitive financial information confidentially.
· Willing to work on shift, public holidays and weekends.

Pay: RM4,200.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
