  1. Make sure the webpage is open.

  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Our client is a new start up Halal food manufacturing well-established company from Japan. They are setting up new factory in Johor Bahru area.

Job Responsibilities

 Lead the overall operations of the factory, including production, quality control, logistics, and maintenance.

 Develop and implement operational strategies, processes, and systems to optimize production efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

 Ensure adherence to all food safety, health, halal and regulatory compliance standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP, ISO, Halal).

 Manage the setup and commissioning of the new factory, including coordination with suppliers, contractors, and government authorities.

 Oversee resource allocation and manage labour, materials, and equipment to ensure timely production and delivery.

 Lead and motivate a diverse team, providing training and development to ensure high performance.

 Collaborate closely with the Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, and Japan teams to align production goals with overall business objectives.

 Manage the budget for the operations department and ensure cost control measures are in place.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree in Engineering, Food Science or related field.
  • Minimum 7 to 10 years of experience in manufacturing preferably with food manufacturing experience..
  • Speaks Japanese is a strong advantage.
