Position Summary: The Operation Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire manufacturing process of plastic injection molding operations. This includes managing production schedules, ensuring quality standards, optimizing processes, and leading a team of operators and technicians to achieve operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the injection molding department.
- Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and deadlines.
- Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as necessary to maintain efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards throughout the injection molding process.
- Implement quality control procedures and lead root cause analysis for quality issues.
- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Utilize Lean Manufacturing principles to streamline operations.
- Analyze production data and KPIs to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage and mentor a team of production staff, technicians, and engineers.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide training to enhance team skills.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions for employees.
- Promote a culture of safety and address any safety concerns promptly.
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of injection molding machinery and equipment.
- Coordinate with maintenance staff to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies or equipment upgrades as necessary.
- Assist in the development and management of the departmental budget.
- Monitor operational costs and identify areas for cost reduction.
- Collaborate with finance to analyze variances and implement corrective actions.
- Work closely with the design, engineering, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth production processes.
- Engage with sales and customer service teams to address customer inquiries and feedback.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in manufacturing operations (5+ years).
- Strong leadership and team management skills.

Pay: Up to RM25,000.00 per month
