SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY :

Responsible for directing, supervising of functions (operation).

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES :

Banquet / F&B Manager in supervising and coordinating activities of Banquet personnel involved in such activities as : o Staff and part time payroll o Staff training / briefing / personal appearance

Ensure that all necessary arrangement and preparation have been properly made by staff in charge of specific functions, follow up with kitchen, housekeeping, engineering and other department when necessary.

Controlling part-time waiter hired for specific function based on approved staff strength and checks attendance of all p ermanent and part-time staff.

JOB AND ROLE/KNOWLEDGE :

Prepare reports on special incident, problems or complaints which may be arise during functions.

Ensuring that the operation of each function is carried out to the client instructions and satisfaction.

Cleanliness of all banqueting area, i.e. front and back of the house.

Working closely with department involved in overall production of banqueting, i.e. kitchen, stewarding, front office, housekeeping and engineering.

Investigate complaints concerning service or quality of food, take action immediately.

Welcome host of the function and assist any last minute changes or arrangement in the absence of Banquet / F&B Manager.

May be assigned to perform duties of Banquet Manager when necessary.

QUALIFICATION / EDUCATION :

Possess minimum SPM or any other equivalent hospitality related certification.

Good supervisory skills.

Attractive and pleasant personality.

Self-motivated, proactive & high enthusiasm.

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM3,632.97 per month
